| The final phase of the installation of the Luther Britt Disc Golf Course is completed. The tee signs were created by Military Wraps, a proud sponsor of the LDGA. To get a look at the signs, travel to LBDGC and play a round, or come to the Lumberton Monthly. |

| Robert "Byrdman" Byrd of Lumberton, recorded the single round record (51) and still holds the double round record (107) for the White course at LBDGC during the Lumberton Monthly. |

| September 29, 2007 ACE RACE at LBDGC |
| Discraft sponsors hundreds of tournaments in the fall of each year. The format is a one throw per hole Ace Race. Many of the holes are shortened and Discraft provides the grand prizes. This year Luther Britt Park held one of these tournaments on September 29th. "Bloomers" of Fayetteville was this year's winner. He received a $300 package courtesy of Discraft. The package was a tournament ready golf bag completely stocked with premium plastic discs, and a special Winners mini. Congratulations to "Bloomers" for this historic feat. |
| James L of Raleigh, recorded the single round record (48) and the double round record (98) for the White course at LBDGC during the Lumberton Monthly. The LDGA Points Race was locked up with Robert "Byrdman" Byrd as the 2007 Men's LDGA Points Champion and Melissa "EMS" Memoli as the 2007 Women's LDGA Points Champion. Congratulations to all three for their achievement. We wish to thank all participants this year for making 2007 a successful year. |
| Melissa "EMS" Memoli of Lumberton, NC was the second person to record an Ace at Luther Britt Park. EMS' shot on #17 was during the second round of the Lumberton Monthly. EMS played from the White Course and made the throw with her trusty Innova DX Gazelle. She took home the second Ace Pool of $80. Her Ace will be immortalized on the LDGA Ace Banner, which will be displayed at every Lumberton Monthly. |

| On February 16, the Inaugural LDGA Member/Guest Tournament will be held at Luther Britt Park. Each LDGA member will field a team of 3 novice players to play along side them. The format will be best throw (Captain's Choice). Each guest will receive one free disc and play with LDGA community discs. It is a one round event with the team with the lowest score winning. | Congratulations to Joe Moyses, James Moore, Shannon Brayboy, and Brad Cutler of team Heatstroke. They were winners of the Inaugural LDGA Member/Guest Tournament that was held at Luther Britt Park. Each LDGA member that participated fielded a team of at least 3 novice players to play along side them.
